SHIP-OS isn't a label printer with delusions. It's a warehouse operating system — floor scanning, printing, inventory authority, client billing, customer portal, chat, and AI assistants, each built to a written engineering decision. The short version of that archive, in operator language:

Connect the label accounts you already pay for and rate-shop across all of them in one place. Your negotiated rates, your billing — SHIP-OS never resells postage or takes a cut, so the cheapest label wins on merit.

02 · Speed & continuity

The floor never waits behind the back office.

Heavy exports, reconciliations, and report runs live on isolated capacity with their own budgets — scanning, packing, and printing keep their fast lanes. Big jobs resume where they stopped; failed work retries visibly instead of duplicating.

Big pick batches on the phone stay fast even at thousands of rows.: Mobile batch screens paginate smoothly and never stall mid-shift.
The Wi-Fi can drop. The scanner keeps working.: Scan confirmations and prints queue locally and sync back when connectivity returns — money-moving actions stay protected.
A scanner built for shaky hands.: The camera locks and dwells before accepting a barcode, with constant stabilization — plus VERIFY pace for careful work and RAPID pace for flat-out repetitive scanning.

03 · Print

Labels that never lie.

Set up logical printers once per site; the print agent routes every job — desktop USB first, then LAN, then iPhone — and only a confirmed print finalizes a shipment. No duplicate labels. No falsely "shipped" orders. No jobs into the void.

Every print has a definite outcome.: If a printer doesn't clearly answer, the operator gets a plain prompt within seconds — confirm, reprint, or hold — naming the printer and station. Never an endless spinner, never a silent retry that double-prints.
The system knows which printers are actually online.: Presence is authoritative: stale routes hold for attention instead of firing into the dark. Redundant setups get exactly one frozen executor per job — belts and braces, but never two labels.

04 · Consistency

Every screen agrees. Every time.

Pick batch counts, shipment statuses, and available actions are canonical — one source of truth across web, desktop, iPhone, and Android. Fulfillment is shipment-scoped, so tracking, holds, and labels always reflect the actual shipment being worked.

Exceptions have owners and close themselves.: One blocking-exceptions queue, openable from any device; blockers auto-close when the underlying state proves they're resolved.
Buy, void, and mark-shipped work identically everywhere.: Actions come from real shipment facts with plain-language errors — no device allows what another blocks.
Open order screens refresh themselves.: Shopify changes land live, and your in-progress edits are never silently overwritten — stale saves are caught and reconciled.

05 · 3PL inventory

A warehouse for other people's stock.

For fulfillment operations holding client inventory, SHIP-OS becomes the system of record — per client, on your timeline: bin-level tracking, lot and serial chain-of-custody, audited receipts and adjustments, returns inspected before restock.

One client's stock can never fulfill another client's order.: Ownership is enforced at every level — no silent borrowing across accounts.
Your clients' storefronts sell only what's actually there.: True available-to-sell — on-hand minus commitments, unsellable stock, and safety buffers — publishes back to each client's Shopify, with separate pre-order feeds.
Storage billing drawn from a ledger you can prove.: Once a client's inventory passes an objective trust gate — counted, reconciled, clean — storage invoices come from the same trusted ledger. Accuracy becomes billable revenue.

06 · Customer portal & white-label

Your customers, inside the loop.

A real customer portal: clients log in to see their shipments, inbound inventory, billing, and returns — plus private channels to coordinate among themselves, with staff joining only when invited. Every order carries one permanent thread, so the full history of a customer's order lives in one place.

Run it on your own domain, in your brand.: wms.yourcompany.com with your logo on the sign-in page — verified, TLS-secured, self-served, on the same shared system.
One person, many warehouses.: Google-style account switching: multiple companies per device, different companies in different tabs, no re-verification hopping between them.
