The bots are optional — and bring-your-own-key

SHIP-OS works fully without any AI configured. Where it helps, you plug in your own key and usage bills straight to your provider account — we never mark it up.

Cloud providers Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI, or OpenRouter's one-key catalog. Add a provider profile, paste your key — it's stored encrypted and used only for your account.
Chinese providers DeepSeek, Qwen, GLM (Zhipu), and Kimi (Moonshot) work first-class through their OpenAI-compatible endpoints.
Hermes is just one of them Our operations assistant ships with every account, but it's one of many. Build your own bots and pick the default brain per machine — changed any time.
Local models Running Ollama or LM Studio? Point a profile at your local URL and the AI features run entirely on your own hardware.
One key, many models OpenRouter gives you a single key across dozens of models, with spending limits in your own dashboard.

Do I need the AI features? No. Every core workflow — rates, labels, packing, picking, inventory — runs without any AI key configured. The bots are optional extras on your own key.
Why charge anything? Server costs, plain and simple — it helps us run the machines while we break this puppy in. It's one-time, never renews, and it's the only thing we ask for up front.
What happens after the 6 free months? Your data and history stay yours either way. Before anything changes, we'll talk — and if cost is a concern, we'll agree on custom pricing that fits your situation.
What are the 3 VMs? Every chat can own a real computer — a shared workspace machine for the people and bots in the room. Always saved, versioned like a document. Your account includes 3.
Why only 10 new users a day? Onboarding stays small and deliberate while pricing takes shape. If the day's spots are gone, come back tomorrow — or contact us.
Carrier and label costs We don't sell labels. You connect the accounts you already have — Shippo, ShipEngine, EasyPost, Stamps.com, or direct carriers — and pay them directly at your negotiated rates. The $10 and everything on this page is the SHIP-OS platform itself.
